Feelnets delivers a new custom-built net project for a private home. The customer wanted to secure a void in the living room while retaining maximum light. He chose a beige-colored net with 30×30 mm mesh. The installation blends harmoniously into the solid wood structure.
A transparent ceiling that frees up space
We often think of the net from above. Yet the view from the floor below is just as important. Mezzanine netting doesn’t block natural light, creating a very modern “cathedral ceiling” effect. What’s more, the net’s shadows draw elegant patterns on the white walls, depending on the light. The room below retains all its volume, so you never feel enclosed despite the creation of a new space.
The technical choice of aesthetics and safety
For this project, the customer selected a soft, comfortable woven mesh. The beige color echoes the natural hue of the exposed beams. The customer chose beige cording to match the mesh for a uniform effect. The double lacing at the bottom of the net ensures perfect tension. This fastening technique guarantees total safety for children and adults alike. The tensioning cord snakes between the bindings with great precision. As a result, the visual appearance remains clean and professional from every angle.
An extra room without major work
The house net transforms a useless void into a real rest area. You can read or take a nap in total peace and quiet. However, theinstallation is lighter and more reversible than a conventional mezzanine. It’s a cost-effective solution for saving square meters and adding character to your interior.
