Feelnets supports a unique new interior design project. Our customer wanted to install a relaxation net in an open space. However, the absence of a load-bearing wall on one side complicated the installation. So we designed a customized technical solution.
A clever technical configuration
This mezzanine net uses a high-strength stainless steel cable to replace a missing wall. This technical system ensures optimal net tension along its entire length. The cable acts as a structural support capable of withstanding heavy loads. It guarantees total safety for adults and children alike. Our technicians validate this solution to compensate for the absence of load-bearing walls or beams.
A soft, luminous aesthetic choice
In addition, the client chose a 30×30 mm beige mesh, the most versatile option in the line. This color adds a touch of softness and brings plenty of light into the room. The choice of this openwork mesh allows light to flow freely between the two levels. Finally, the double beige lacing highlights the elegance of this custom installation.
A complete, sturdy mounting kit
For this project, Feelnets supplied all the necessary equipment. The kit includes the cable, cable clamps, cable blocks, and shackles. These accessories allow for precise installation, even without a supporting wall. As a result, the net appears to float in space while remaining very rigid. This project demonstrates that our nets can adapt to any architectural constraints. You can thus transform your open spaces into true relaxation areas. This installation technique using a perimeter cable is detailed in our fastening guide, along with the parts used and the situations where it is recommended.
