Customized mezzanine netting: our interior solutions

Every Feelnets net is based on a space and a need. The principle is always the same: a net made to the exact dimensions of your configuration, stretched between your existing structures, without unnecessary drilling or partitioning. Whether you’re looking to create a walkable surface, install a suspended relaxation area or optimize an unused volume, Feelnets home netting adapts to all frameworks – wood, concrete or IPN – and to all aesthetics thanks to its 7 available colors.

Mezzanine net

Stretched horizontally between beams, walls or roof timbers, mezzanine netting creates a practical, suspended surface in your space. You can sleep, read, play or store on it. Sturdy, EN1263-1 certified and manufactured to the exact dimensions of your configuration, it’s the ideal solution for exploiting ceiling height in a high-rise house or duplex apartment. For all-round safety, a vertical guardrail net completes the installation.

Suspended relaxation area

Hung in the void at the heart of your interior, the suspended relaxation net creates a space in its own right – a cocoon in which to lie down, read and rest. In a living room with high ceilings or in an architectural corner, it becomes a living element in its own right, somewhere between a giant hammock and an extra room. The 30×30 mm mesh is particularly well-suited to this purpose: light, comfortable and available in 7 colors to suit all interiors.

Space planning and optimization

Under unused attic space, in a nook under the eaves or in a volume at an angle, the net opens up a third way between heavy construction and lost square meters. Placed between two existing structures, it creates a light additional surface – storage space, spare bedroom, playroom – without partitioning or touching load-bearing walls. The shape of the net adapts to your exact geometry, even the most atypical. It’s often the quickest way to gain living space without having to enlarge.

What mesh should you choose for your mezzanine net?

Feelnets offers two mesh sizes for its made-to-measure indoor nets, each adapted to different uses and aesthetics. All our nets are made in France, EN1263-1 certified, and delivered to the exact dimensions of your project.
The choice of mesh depends above all on the use and aesthetic required.

  • The 30×30 mm mesh is the most versatile: lighter, it lets light through and blends naturally into a living room, mezzanine or suspended relaxation area. Available in 7 colors to suit all interiors.
  • The denser, heavier 13×13 mm mesh offers a virtually opaque surface, making it particularly suitable for indoor nets that don’t need to let light through, and give priority to comfort.

Both meshes are EN1263-1 certified and custom-made in France to the exact dimensions of your space.

Frequently asked questions about mezzanine netting

How much does custom-made mezzanine netting cost?

The price depends on the surface area, the mesh chosen and the fastenings required. For example, a 5 m² mezzanine net in 30×30 mesh with fastenings and rope costs from €350 incl. VAT, delivered in France. Since every project is unique, Feelnets will send you a free personalized quote in less than 3 hours.

Which mesh to choose for a mezzanine net?

The 30×30 mm mesh is the most versatile: it lets light through, offers excellent comfort and is available in 7 colors. The denser 13×13 mm mesh is ideal for projects where opacity and comfort are required. Both meshes are EN1263-1 certified and can withstand loads of up to 200 kg/m².

Can you install a mezzanine net yourself?

Yes, it can be installed by two people using standard tools. Every Feelnets order is delivered with the exact net dimensions, the fasteners to suit your structure, the tensioning rope and a complete installation guide. If you prefer to delegate the installation, our network of partner craftsmen is available throughout France.

What fastenings are needed for a mezzanine net?

Fasteners depend on the type of framework. On a wooden structure, we use pegs or bridges on a base plate. On concrete or metal IPN, we use anchors adapted to the load. Feelnets selects and includes the certified fasteners corresponding to your configuration in every order – you don’t have to choose them separately.

How strong is a Feelnets home net?

Our indoor nets can withstand loads of up to 210 kg/m² for 30×30 mm mesh and 200 kg/m² for 13×13 mm mesh. The maximum load is 450 kg/m² up to 7 m² and one tonne over 7 m². All our nets are EN1263-1 certified, the European safety standard for protection nets.

Is mezzanine netting suitable for an old house or timber frame?

Yes, Feelnets makes its nets to fit all types of framework: wood, concrete and metal IPN. Fasteners are selected according to your precise configuration and included in your order. If in doubt about your structure, our team will advise you before manufacturing.

How long does it take to receive my custom-made mezzanine net?

Manufacturing time is 10 to 15 working days from validation of your quotation. Free delivery anywhere in mainland France.

What’s the difference between a mezzanine net and a suspended relaxation net?

Mezzanine netting is stretched between structures to create a surface that can be walked on, slept on or stored. Suspended relaxation netting is hung in the void to create a cocoon-like space in which to recline, like a giant custom-made hammock. Both are made-to-measure but serve different purposes.

Can you choose the color and shape of your mezzanine net?

Yes, every Feelnets net is fully customizable. The 30×30 mm mesh is available in 7 colors, the 13×13 mm mesh in black and white. Shapes can be rectangular or adapted to complex geometries – slanting angles, trapezoids, crawl spaces. Tension rope is also available in several colors and diameters.
